Good Interviews Do Not Job Offers Make

Girl Friday is back from beyond!  Well, back from her long weekend of home renovations and bonding with the ‘rents.

I haven’t posted since Friday!  First things first—my interview went splendidly.  I was honest and charming, but that doesn’t mean I made the best impression.  I didn’t embellish my skills or talents.  I told them I am looking for a supervisor that is willing to be more of a mentor and more hands on with me than my current boss.  I am not a Power Point wiz and I’m not huge on public speaking.  I don’t know if I’m the best fit for the job, but I will let them decide that.

I have another interview later in the month and a few other job possibilities, so I’m a bit reticent to make a decision this week.  Hopefully I won’t have to, but there is a chance I could hear back by Friday.

P.S.  Did you know that this Friday is Friday the 13th?  *Cue dramatic music*
